NETCOPRENEUR
NETCOPRENEUR is NETCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme developed as part of its commitment to empowering the youth with entrepreneurial skills and development. This is a three months’ residential capacity building programme designed for the unemployed graduate youths of the Iru Community (our immediate host community in Victoria Island).
NETCO has carried out the Batch ‘A’ and Batch ‘B’ Entrepreneurial Skills Acquisition Programme for unemployed graduates of Iruland in Fish Farming (breeding, production and processing), Computer Application/Web Design and Software Development course, Catering services (includes baking/decoration) and Leatherworks/beads making and Events Management.
Currently, we are working with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture to execute the Batch C of the NETCOPRENUER programme.
NETCO GOES TO SCHOOLS “Education Programme”
Through its "NETCO Goes to Schools" programme, NETCO's aim is to inspire and enable the future generation of innovators and problem solvers in addition to demystifying the study of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) courses. Our aim is to instil a passion for learning and discovery among secondary school students while showcasing in them the exciting opportunities within the fields of Engineering.
NETCO organises interactive sessions, including presentations, seminars, and hands-on activities, tailored to the students' age and educational levels. Our team of experienced engineers, scientists, and professionals provide insights into various engineering disciplines, illustrating real-world applications and career options.
DONATIONS TO INSTITUTIONS AND COMMUNITIES
Alongside our structured programs, NETCO actively engages in donations to institutions and communities as part of our broader commitment to societal welfare.
Notably, we have sponsored the Hebron Motor Sports Team, showcasing our dedication to supporting local initiatives and sporting endeavors.
Also, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, NETCO rose to the occasion by giving support to various segments of society, understanding the hardships faced by individuals, communities, and frontline workers.
NETCO distributed relief packages comprising essential food items, hygiene supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to vulnerable communities severely affected by the lockdown measures. These distributions were carried out in collaboration with local authorities and community leaders to ensure efficient and fair distribution.
